Oliver and Conner went out on a secret mission (to get dinner). They came back, and Oliver burst through the door, incredibly excited.
“We got dinner, Mommy!” he exclaimed.
“What did you get, sweetie?”
“Ummm. Garlic bread. And pie.”
“Pie?! Awesome! What kind?”
“Ummm. Grey pie.”
“…oh… sounds… delicious.”
Turns out, Conner didn’t buy a moldy pie (thank goodness), but instead, apple.
I made this hat–twice actually–for Hazel. I didn’t have a pattern; I just kind of knit, using a stitch I really liked (from the most recent socks I made for Conner). I had to knit it twice because the first time it was too wide and too short (so much for swatching…). However, since it was cashmere, it was yummy to knit with. I think it turned out well, especially since it’s really the first thing I’ve made without a pattern.
Hazel likes to touch it too! (It’s soooo soft!)
Our external hard drive is on the fritz–which is a major bad deal for me, since there are thousands and thousands of my photos stored on it. We were tossing around the idea of getting a new one last night in conversation, but went to bed.
This morning, I logged onto amazon.com, not for any particular reason, and at the top of the page shows “Hard Drive Bestsellers”, showing external hard drives that are on sale.
