List of Things I Want to do in NYC
We’ll be in NYC for the summer, and I’ll still be on maternity leave. I want to make sure that I get out of the house every day with the kidlets, for my own sanity if nothing else. So, I want to compile a list of things to do with a two year old and a 3-6 month old. As I do them, I’ll try to review them as well.
- Sydney’s playground ( 66 White St., New York, NY 10013).
- This is an indoor playground. $12.50 a day, but apparently perfect for getting out on a rainy day.
- Central Park Zoo
- Kind of a no-brainer
- Bronx Zoo
- Another no-brainer
- Language Workshop for Children
- Both Conner and I believe in the importance of knowing other languages, and how much easier it is for children to learn foreign languages. I’m considering enrolling Oliver into a French or Spanish class, but I’d need to talk to the school first.
- Children’s Museum of the Arts
- Children’s Museum of Manhattan
- Central Park Marionette Theatre
- Riverside Park River Run
- Riverside Park Elephant Playground
- Riverside Park Dinosaur Playground
- Central Park Mariner’s Playground
- New York Kids Club?
- Barnes and Noble Book Readings for kids
- Botanical Gardens
