List of Things I Want to do in NYC

We’ll be in NYC for the summer, and I’ll still be on maternity leave. I want to make sure that I get out of the house every day with the kidlets, for my own sanity if nothing else. So, I want to compile a list of things to do with a two year old and a 3-6 month old. As I do them, I’ll try to review them as well.

  • Sydney’s playground ( 66 White St., New York, NY 10013).
    • This is an indoor playground. $12.50 a day, but apparently perfect for getting out on a rainy day.
  • Central Park Zoo
    • Kind of a no-brainer
  • Bronx Zoo
    • Another no-brainer
  • Language Workshop for Children
    • Both Conner and I believe in the importance of knowing other languages, and how much easier it is for children to learn foreign languages. I’m considering enrolling Oliver into a French or Spanish class, but I’d need to talk to the school first.
  • Children’s Museum of the Arts
  • Children’s Museum of Manhattan
  • Central Park Marionette Theatre
  • Riverside Park River Run
  • Riverside Park Elephant Playground
  • Riverside Park Dinosaur Playground
  • Central Park Mariner’s Playground
  • New York Kids Club?
  • Barnes and Noble Book Readings for kids
  • Botanical Gardens
